about

It is said that the three kings from the East were not actually kings but magicians. They followed a star that showed them the way. Yoshi followed an invitation to come down all the way from the Austrian Alps to the Health Club. Bernhard just took his friend Leander with him. Wizards can interpret dreams and tell stories, they are observant and curious, but sometimes also careless and they can get wet in the rain.

And so they find themselves in a basement in Berlin, from which many fantastic journeys have started already. Along their walk of the heart along dusty paths, Yoshi sees watering cans and turns them magically into percussion instruments, while Leander and Bernhard stray off and come across a pin that is also on its way. But whereto? Stories intertwist and become increasingly puzzling. Is that Tom Waits standing over there in the corner with General Friedrich von Wrangel? Someone shouts out of their window that you'd better get a job. The collection of tracks is almost like a reading of strange tarot cards, which does not seem to make any sense at all, but the pictures on the cards are lovely anyway. However, the trio remain confident that everything will be being comprehensible in the end, someone from the East probably will be able to decipher it. Or could you?

A lighthearted and awkwardly beautiful album full of satirical and philosophical innuendos. Things just seem to happen here. But can you be sure what was intentional or just coincidental when you're dealing with Ill-mannered music alchemists? You might consider it as a parody of a concept album with a dash of Austrian humor.
