On a small Japanese island called Cipher, people live longer than anyone else in the world. The island is located somewhere in the east and is difficult to reach from the outside world. Because of their extended lifespan, the inhabitants have a lot of time to solve the mysteries of life. They discover that it is not really difficult.
After the war, the Americans built a Health Club on the island to somehow take advantage of the islanders' excellent physical condition. But the gym has long since been abandoned, and the islanders are happy to be able to ponder the mysteries of the world in peace and quiet.
