Nick Bradey I am in agreement with Carsten - this album with shorter tracks is more accessible than the longer single tracks on many of Bernhard’s releases ( but the longer tracks are perfect for contemplation and immersion in Bernhard’s universe .)
Bernhard is going from strength to strength . Favorite track: Excavation.

Carsten Pieper I like most stuff, that the prolific Berdhard Wöstheinrich is putting out but there is quite a lot of it... I'm a big fan of the textures and moods he's able to conjure (eg Elsewhere), but I seem to like his stuff even more when put into a ( more melodic?) context. So, I find myself often opting for his collaborations like this one... Favorite track: Subterranean.

Materiaal Series, Vol. 053

On February 12, 2022, Alexander Paul Dowerk, a Berlin-based music producer, composer and touch guitarist, was invited to a Materiaal recording session at the Secret Vault Studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin. The recordings resulted in a complex and powerful interplay between Bernhard and Alexander, rich in variety. Alexander brought a strong sense of detail and groove with complex rhythmical structures to Bernhard's impromtu electronica madness.
