This is the first release in a series of recordings of Bernhard Wöstheinrich’s solo gigs during his US-northeast tour in Oct. 2015. “Digital Dreams 2015” has been recorded live to 2-track on the radio show “Digital Dreams” (WLFR) at Stockton University, Pomona, NJ on October 13 2015.
The music is composed and performed without pre-recordings. All structures and accompaniments are created and generated during the performance in real time using complex live-looping- and live-sequencing systems.
“Digital Dreams 2015” showcases all the signature elements of Bernhard Wöstheinrich’s; inventive textural rhythms, pounding bass ostinati plus intriguing ambient sound textures. This music attributes a new meaning to the term Berlin School.
